Miracle Skin Transformer Acne Control in Medium - pics, before & after, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

If you have acne prone skin, you're going to love this product: the Miracle Skin Transformer Acne Control! This is just like their original Miracle Skin Transformer, except reformulated to help treat, clear, and control acne - plus it will help with excess oil too, making it a great makeup primer. Read my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics.

Miracle Skin Transformer Acne Control Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $48.00 (1 fl oz full size). Available on the Miracle Skin Transformer website, at Sephora, at Nordstrom, at Dermstore, and everywhere else Miracle Skin Transformer is sold.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses!

Instantly transform your skin with this color correcting, breakout fighting, light-weight, matte finish, tinted skin enhancer. This skin-perfecting tinted skin enhancer creates a flawless finish as it moisturizes and treats acne prone skin, while fighting future breakouts. Long wearing, natural coverage conceals imperfections instantly, helping to diminish the appearance of blemishes, pores, acne scars, and uneven skintone for a smooth, matte, flawless finish.

Helps control oil and shine while refining the look of pores. Anti-aging actives and antioxidants help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Clears existing breakouts while helping to prevent the formation of new ones. Marine Sea Whip effectively calms and soothes skin irritation and surface redness.

Formulated with SMARTsal10, a breakthrough, technologically advanced blemish fighting complex that combines salicylic acid with anti-microbial peptide-10 to promote a faster reduction in the appearance of acne and blemishes now and in the future.

Available in 5 shades, including a translucent option: Translucent, Light, Medium, Tan, Dark. I have the shade Medium, which works well for my skintone and is what I have in the Original Miracle Skin Transformer. Although I do find the Medium shade in the Acne Control formula is slightly darker in tone. You can use the translucent shade at night to double up on your acne fighting efforts as an overnight acne treatment.

The texture of the Acne Control formula is different from the original. The original has a whipped mousse-like texture, where as the Acne Control formula is more of a liquid. Applies beautifully, as it melts into skin looking undetectable on the skin. Buildable if you prefer to layer it up for more coverage, since on it's own it has sheer coverage (I think it has less coverage than the original with a single layer). The coverage issue is probably the only reason I did not give this a 5 out of 5 Kisses. But for what I use this product as - a makeup primer - I don't really care about the coverage.

As I've mentioned, I personally like to use this as a makeup primer. I find it helps to fight my blemishes while I have makeup on, yet it doesn't interfere with my makeup at all. If anything, it acts just like a makeup primer would. I find it helps my foundation go on smoothly and it really does help control oil - something that was very noticeable when using this product.

Consider this your acne treatment, your tinted moisturizer, your BB cream, and your makeup primer all in one product. I really loved his product and very much prefer it over the original version. If you have acne prone skin, or currently are battling acne, then I highly recommend giving this a try. It is worth every penny!

  1. The transformation is cool. The coverage is moderate and it does look natural based on the pictures.
