Mally Ultimate Performance CC Concealer Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $35.00 (0.14 oz full size). Will eventually be available on Mally's website, but right now you can buy from QVC.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

What you're getting in this incredible Ultimate Performance CC Concealer is a combination of coverage and color correction (hence the CC in the name). In the lavender core there are special color-correcting pigments that help neutralize and soft blue tones, which help correct the appearance of redness and blemishes. The outer ring provides concealing benefits. With the combination of supreme coverage and color correction, this formula is a real multitasker!

This concealer truly does it all! Not only does it make your skin look great, but it's also good for your skin. This formula is jam-packed with a cocktail of some of the most amazing ingredients. Provides supreme coverage while neutralizing the appearance of dark spots and brightening the face.

I've been a concealer junkie lately; my concealer drawer is literally packed full and many of them are recent buys, as I've been on the hunt for great concealers - not just for covering dark circles or blemishes, but to highlight and contour as well. With that being said, I really enjoyed this new concealer from Mally.

I've tried several of her concealers - I've done reviews on her Cancellation Concealer System (in Light/Medium), as well as her Cancellation Conditioning Concealer (in Medium). I also own her Age Rebel Nourishing Concealer in Medium, which I thought I had a review on but I guess I never did. Out of the three I had previously owned, my favorite was the Age Rebel Nourishing Concealer.

Normally I get the Medium shade from Mally, but lately I've been getting lighter shades as I find I like to brighten with it more than actually conceal darkness, and considering this is supposed to brighten, I thought a lighter shade would be appropriate. The darker shade I have, Tan, is far too dark for my skintone but I thought would make a good contour shade.

I have to say I don't really notice the center core doing much to help color correct, but it may be that I don't have a ton to color correct. All I know is that when I use this it looks good on my skin. I've even worn this as a foundation when I was rushing out the door and my skin looked great!

This is a nice creamy concealer, which I thought would cause issues with slipping around, but it actually dries down and sets into place. I have combo skin - sometimes it's more oily and other times it's more dry. So far, this concealer has worked great on me. I haven't used it to cover any blemishes or hyper pigmentation though, just used this under my eyes to brighten and conceal (the Light shade).

With the Tan shade, I use it as a cream contour. I just apply and blend. I find it blends very easily and creates a very subtle contour. Since I'm typically a Medium in Mally's face line (foundations, concealers, powders), the Tan shade was dark enough to act as a contour shade but it wasn't so dark, as it was just a shade up.  I do find the Tan shade does seem to be a bit orange in tone though.

I don't think it's the most amazing at covering super dark circles -- you may find you need to use another concealer first depending on the level of darkness your under eyes are working with and the look you're going for. But I do feel like this concealer has fantastic coverage on its own - like I said, I even used this as a foundation! I don't recommend using it as a foundation only because you'd waste product, but you could if you were in a pinch.

I find the best way to apply is direct from the tube to the under eye area and blend with your fingers. I've used a brush but find it's faster and I get more coverage if I pat it into my skin. It blends flawlessly that way. The Beauty Blender does a great job too at blending, but I still prefer finger blending application.

Overall, I thought it did a great job on me, and I really have been enjoying it. I don't know why I didn't do a before and after pic showing it, so I'll have to do that in the future and update this post. Or even do an Instagram post - which by the way, if you're not already you really should follow me on Instagram because I post a lot more reviews, swatches and such there - plus, it's very easy to for me to reply to questions there.
