My Review...

This polish formula is one of the better I've tried. It applies really nice and even, almost effortless. Even the metallic shades -- which, if you've used a metallic, you know brush strokes can be easy to see and hard to make go away-- applied with little to no issues.

They are all opaque in just one coat, but out of habit I did use two coats for swatches. They had a good dry time and dried to a glossy, smooth finish.

These polishes show up in luxury too, each packed in their own mini black Beaute gift box - making the perfect gift, even if it's a gift for yourself.

Out of the five shades I have, Petrichor is my favorite because I love all gray shades. It was really hard to capture the beauty of Petrichor in the photos, as my lighting kind of washed it out. Petrichor is a light gray with a slight satin/shimmer. Beaute describes it as a muted smoke. I'd say it's just really pretty - a neutral light gray that goes with anything. If you don't like white on your nails but want something lighter, try Petrichor.

Enigma is a really pretty shade as well. I'd describe this as a metallic lavender. The more you look at it, the more unique the color unfolds. On the Beaute website, they describe this as a lavender turquoise shimmer. I'm not sure where the turquoise is, but maybe that is the unique undertone I can't really detect.

Curse is a shade that on first glance appears red, but once you really look at it you can see the orange to it. Beaute describes this as a deep bright orange. I describe it as an orange based red. No shimmer to this one; just a bright orange-red shade that will pop on your nails.

Charm is another gorgeous metallic shade. It is a gold but just like with Enigma, the more you look at it the more unique the color unfolds. Beaute describes this as a muted metallic gold. I would also agree with that. It's not an in-your-face bar of gold but instead a softer version of metallic gold.

And then there is Perdu, which is a pretty shade on its own but the one I've only swatched and haven't reached for to actually use on my nails. Beaute describes this as a natural nude; I'd describe it as a pink hued nude creme. Maybe now with fall right around the corner, a shade like Perdu will be better worn but so far it was more of a yawn shade for me. Not very exciting, as I don't wear neutrals all that much. But if you love neutral shades this is one for you because of the application/formula.

Overall, really impressed by this line of polish. Luxury in a bottle!
